Axe Throwing FAQs
When booking with Whistle Punks, your axe throwing session will last for 70 minutes, with each lane consisting of 2 targets, an instructor, and up to 10 players.
If you’re nervous, don’t worry, our sessions are designed for first-timers.
During the session, you’ll receive a safety brief, learn how to throw an axe, take part in a tournament and learn some trick shots. Ever fancied throwing two axes at once? An instructor will be on the lane throughout to ensure you’re having a blast & that you can impress your friends safely.
Do you Offer Corporate Venue Hire?
We offer full corporate venue hire across all our activity bars, including axe throwing locations in London, Manchester, Bristol & Leeds.
Our lane packages provide a more private experience for larger groups, with our exclusive lane package fitting up to 10 players, creating the perfect mix of competition between departments…
P.S., we heard Steve from Accounts is a real dark horse when it comes to throwing axes!
What is a single ticket for a social lane?
If you’re getting together for a bit of team bonding or a small work social event, our single ticket option may be better for you, allowing you to purchase a single ticket for each player, with up to 10 players per lane.
You’ll be playing as a mixed group, but don’t worry, our instructors are great at getting everyone involved, and soon enough, you’ll be cheering on everybody on your lane.
What is your capacity?
Each of our lanes can fit up to 10 players, with new lanes starting every 15 minutes. Our venues can host up to 200 players at any one time, ensuring you can get the whole team together & no one misses out!
My Group is too large for one lane, can we still play?
Yes, we can still get you throwing, but the group will be split across more than one lane. Select your desired start times when making a booking, or speak to our customer service team for more info.
Can we book a session outside of the times listed online?
Spontaneity is a part of everyday life, but it’s always good to plan ahead, which is why we offer a variety of start times, including availability outside of the times listed online.

Can I Book Tickets For Today?
Absolutely, if there is still availability remaining.
Although, we do always recommend booking well in advance to ensure no one misses out on an axe throwing experience like no other!

Great, simply book another ticket for the same session and fill out the box marked ‘Joining another group?’ The more the merrier!
Do I Need To Arrive On Time?
Yes, we ask all players to arrive 10-15 minutes before their session start time to allow for checking in, which is particularly important for larger groups and corporate events. You can always hit the bar while you wait.
