The causes we choose to support and why

TREES FOR CITIES

We’re excited to be working with Trees for Cities a charity focused on planting trees to bring real benefit to our cities, health and wellbeing.

The effects of climate change are already being felt. We’re experiencing warmer, wetter winters, and hotter, drier summers, creating higher temperatures in our cities.

Our partnership is two-fold.

For every Exclusive Lane package booked, we donate £2 to Trees for Cities. This money goes towards planting trees in urban areas and communities across the UK.

The second part to our relationship is that we chip all of our waste wood (targets and axe handles) and donate the material to then be reused as mulch around the base of newly planted trees.

FOREVER MANCHESTER

Our charity partner in Manchester is the fabulous Forever Manchester. We are huge fans of their work as a charity with a clear purpose, to invest in community projects offering a hand up and not a hand out.

‘Forever Manchester is the only charity that raises money to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be happy and we’d love you to become part of this growing movement. We work with local people in our communities to inspire and encourage projects that they want to see, to make their neighbourhoods happier and safer places to be. All of the money raised for Forever Manchester is used to fund and support over 1,000 community projects in Greater Manchester each year.’

Whistle Punks and Forever Manchester co-host events in our Manchester venue along with ambassadors of the charity.

MIND - BRENT WANDSWORTH AND WESTMINSTER

Our London venue selected Mind: Brent Wandsworth and Westminster as their charity partner. BWW Mind provides Talking Therapies, Mother Tongue Counselling, Community Befriending and much more.

‘We aim to deliver the best mental health services for those who live and work in Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster, as well as our neighbouring boroughs.’

Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital

Our Birmingham venue’s selected local charity partner is Birmingham Women’s and Children NSH Foundation Trust.

‘At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families. It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital’s services, offering them the best experience possible. It is only through the kindness, generosity and hard work of our supporters raising these vital funds for our charity that we are able to do more and more every year to take us closer to achieving our vision to provide the best possible facilities and environment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, for our exceptional patients and young people.’
